One bedroom house apartment and $21.8 million to pay for it. Yes, the number is correct. Situated in the most expensive neighborhood in Tokyo, this apartment is breathtaking from any point of view. First of all, for one bedroom place, I wouldn’t have expected a space of 4,434 square feet. But there’s a start for everything, I guess.
The bedroom isn’t that imposing at all, yet the house is impressive due to the large storage rooms for clothes and shoes or the Japanese dining room, perfect for dinner parties. Outside there’s a garden reviving the atmosphere so beautifully, because all that green matches the predominant color inside, which is brown. All the furniture is custom made by Cecotti Collezioni and most of the wood and stone used for the walls, doors or flooring are imported from Italy.
There’s nothing cheap there, but although it looks rich, it doesn’t seem to me like it was worth $21.8 million. I guess that’s discussable, as well as the fact that no sane people would choose to pay that much for just one bedroom, regardless of any other aspect.
