Need more space in your home for an office or guest rooms? Don’t bother! You better build a tree house in your backyard and problem solved! Inspired from the small houses that children used to have in a big tree more often than the adults, as an actual living place, Rockefeller Partners Architects took everything to the next level, building a stunning 172 square feet guest house.
The architecture is quite interesting and it keeps wood as a main material to use for the house, along with steel structures for resistance and large windows to the beautiful views of Los Angeles. Inside there’s nothing that wouldn’t make you feel at home. Comfty couches, office space, bathroom and even an outdoor shower for hot days of summer.
Although this is just an inspired tree-house building, because it’s not hanging in a tree, one must admit it’s impressive. And the beauty – the idea is inspired of an old fallen tree and the house comes to honor it and carry on its legacy symbolic.
