Tanju Ozelgin is the studio that designed the interior of S Studio house, situated in Istambul, Turkye. The dwelling spans 4,300 square feet in three floors, emanating a contemporary air, as the owners wanted a modern look, with natural elements and light toned spaces. The home technology is well integrated, so that it fits the interior. Also, every floor has a different story, a different concept.
The entrance floor, which is the top one, because of the sloped area, has three bedrooms, one for the owner and two for the guests. The middle floor is reserved for the kitchen, the living room being situated at the ground floor, along with a steam room and a sauna.
Natural stone is used as a material for the walls in the kitchen, bathroom, showers, hall and bedrooms. In fact, the whole idea is based on modernity where nature can be easily incorporated, no matter how crazy it looks like– see the area under the stairs full of gravel. A novel concept, yet it looks sensational!
